No, not at all, this device will not reduce the lifespan of your engine or damage your engine or any other parts, even in the long term, as this device complies with manufacturer standards.

Fuel economy is a logical side effect of the box, here's how it works:

When the box is installed, you have more power. To reach a given speed, such as 90 km/h, you need to press the accelerator less or for a shorter time. This results in consuming less fuel.

You won't notice it by pressing the pedal, but you will notice it when refueling if you know your usual consumption.

CAUTION: This effect only works if you keep driving the same way as before installing the box. If you tend to accelerate more, there will be no savings.

It is impossible to quantify this saving in advance or to guarantee it. Too many parameters come into play, such as wear, manufacturing tolerances, type of journey, driving style, vehicle load, fuel quality, tire type, etc.

The advertised power and torque gain is approximate but real, but cannot be guaranteed. Why?

Because each engine is different, the gain may vary by a few horsepower depending on the wear of the engine, manufacturing tolerance, etc.

Even two identical engines will not have exactly the same power and torque gain in the end.

This box modifies injection timing and slightly the injection pressure while staying within the manufacturer's standards (safety limits not exceeded).

On gasoline engine, we change de turbo pressure, but always under the manufacturer max specification.
